Realism in watercolors is Mr. Correale's forteŽ. He has a great love
for the scenic flavor of the northeast, having been born and raised in New
England. When he chooses a particular theme and transposes it to his
paintings, he attempts to give the viewer something of the same emotional
impact he has felt.
Mr. Correale's paintings are held in private collections around the
United States, Europe and Japan. He is a member of the National Watercolor
Society, the Kentucky Watercolor Society, the New England Watercolor
Society, the Rockport Art Association and is a master artist at the Copley
Society.
He has won many awards and has had numerous one-man shows in New York
City. Before moving to Rockport, Massachusetts where he currently resides
and paints, he was a well-known graphic designer throughout New York and
Connecticut, his work appearing on the covers of publications ranging from
telephone directories to national magazines.
With his wife, Rae, he founded the Correale Gallery in Rockport twelve
years ago where he sells both original and limited-edition prints. One
visiting the gallery can also select from a fine line of original art glass
and pottery. |
